About Twin Heat
HISTORY
Twin Heat started in 1980 as Johannes Pedersen Maskinfabrik in Viborg in Northern Jutland. At that time, the factory produced sheet parts etc. for the motor industry. The Twin Heat Biofuel Burner was originally developed as an alternative to expensive fuel oil – at that time, the main fuel used for this alternative system was coal.
During the 1980s, Twin Heat developed a broad range of biofuel burners, ranging from compact 10kW systems to small-scale industrial systems of up to 250kW. The main fuels were now coal, wood shaving and straw.
Since the late 1980s, Twin Heat has undergone major development and is currently a leading manufacturer within development and production of biofuel systems for both private households and industry. The biofuel systems range from 10 to 250kW and the fuels used are primarily wood pellets, cereal grain and wood shavings. Since 1995, Twin Heat has sold several thousands biofuel systems, primarily on the Danish market.
